This week I shot some short clips with a friend from my film club that we submitted to the short shorts festival (only 12 sec allowed!) hosted by the "Landjäger Magazin".
In this particular clip I had the pleasure of eating cereals with beer :)
You can watch the other clips on our clubs website!

I have been to London now and then, but after 8 years I finally managed to visit the St. James's Palace in London!
I didn't know the building when I chose a photograph from a free texture library, but I liked it and decided to model it just for practice. It was in 2008 when I started to learn the basics of Autodesk Maya.
Somehow this circumstance lead to a personal connection to this building. It's not really a beauty and all pedestrians I saw simply passed by, but the north front of the domicile had won my affection.
You can see the model in my portfolio.
Unfortunately, I have only screenshots from the Learning Edition left with watermarks. However, I'm glad I was able to touch the original stones after I virtually bricked them in my early 20s.

Here's a major update of my galleon! I did some changes on the mesh and it's finally fully textured!
Next step will be some rigging and animating... :)

Lately, I've been working on this galleon from the 17th century. Sailing vessels are fascinating indeed!
Some modelling and polishing tasks left, but I'm excited to texture it already!
